I am a chiropractor and had been in practice for a few years as a tenant in a local plaza when a great opportunity came up to buy a building from a retiring medical practitioner in the heritage district of our community. As my wife and I had recently started a family and were not expecting to buy a building, we were not in an attractive financial position to undertake this next step (or at least the banks didn’t think so). However, as my practice was becoming established, and commercial properties rarely come available in this area of our town, we thought the opportunity too good to pass up.
At this point my friend/mortgage broker beat the bushes a little bit for us and put me in touch with Paul Zen and Lorne Goldstein of Binbrook Holdings. Lorne and Paul came out to my existing clinic and sat down with me to discuss what my plans were for the future of my business and what role they could play. Now, I must admit I was expecting some brand of flashier private banker-type guys to show up and give me the hairy eyeball and third degree about how if the banks wouldn’t touch me why they (Binbrook) should.
Well, I couldn’t have been further from the mark. Paul and Lorne were very warm, personable and easy to talk to. They were also refreshingly straight-forward about forging a business relationship, what they would require and what their role would be.
Over the next few years we met periodically to touch base and make sure everything was on track. My strongest impression of Paul and Lorne was that they show a personal concern for their clients and make a real effort to ensure that their role is a positive one and that the relationship develops productively and comfortably for everyone involved.
I would recommend Lorne and Paul of Binbrook Holdings without hesitation. I am certainly glad I met them.
Sincerely,
Dr. Craig S. Anderson D.C., B.A.(Psych.)
In February 2002, Niapen Oil Inc. opened a highway Petrocanada service center in Grimsby, Ontario. In the fall of 2006, I was given the opportunity to buy-out my partner of 5 years. The building and equipment were owned by Niapen but the service center was built on leased land which made it very difficult to obtain financing t hrough traditional banking sources.
Referred by a friend, I contacted Binbrook Holdings LTD. Binbrook not only supplied the necessary funds for the buy-out, but did so in a very timely manner.
Thanks to Brinbrook and a lot of hard work on our part we've become the #1 Petrocanada dealer in Canada.
